Product/UX Challenge

  1. The design problem that I chose was to design a promotional beanie for a coffee shop in Seattle. I found this prompt interesting enough to create a product or UX design because it correlates with what I want my own business to be, which is a clothing brand.

2. The tools used to create this work were Adobe Illustrator and Google. I chose these because Google helped me to research a random coffee shop and know what their brand was about and Adobe Illustrator is something that I have mastered and know quite a bit about so it made it easier to create this product.

3. My job in this project was to make a product. The product was to make a beanie that advertised a local coffee shop in Seattle that they could use for promotional reasons. How I went about this was researching a random coffee shop from Seattle. Then my next step was to choose a random coffee shop. This way I could research one specific shop. I then got their logo and brand statements from Google. I also used this to research their brand and know what their intentions were with the brand. Then once I found all this information I was able to create a logo and put that on a PNG image of a beanie that I found on Google.

This is the final product and solution that I came up with in order to promote their brand right. The brand that I chose was Seven Market and Cafe in Seattle, Washington.
